"War shall weed out the unworthy and advance the mighty. It is through its trials that we shall persevere and dominate."

The Repzork Empire, known also as the Korvar, are a young interstellar nation which was founded a little over sixty years ago when it seceded from the Empire of Galdera in what is now known as either the 'Schism' or the 'Vulga of Betrayal'. The empire was founded by the 'Bloodthirsters' a sect of Galderans which believed in a more militaristic and extremist interpretation of Deltausyleris. Their ruler is Emperor Zervath, a brother of the current Galderan empress, Kazadair III. Zervath initially attempted to seize the Galderan throne by assassinating Kazadair, but his plan failed; unable to claim the throne, the Bloodthirsters instead seceded and formed the Repzork Empire. The Repzork seek to one day defeat the Galderans and become a dominant superpower in the known galaxy.

Whereas the Galderans believe that Syleris has chosen them to help usher in a new golden age, the Repzork believe that they have been chosen to act as instruments of the goddess' divine wrath. They traverse the stars, judging whether or not the sapient races they encounter are worthy to exist. If they are determined to be fit to live, they will become allies, or better yet, be inducted into the Repzork empire as a new member state. If they are judged as being unworthy, they will either be conquered and forcefully assimilated or outright exterminated. At the same time, the Repzork also believe that they themselves must prove their worth to Syleris, which can be accomplished through various methods, such as fighting on the battlefield and dedicating sacrificial rituals to her name. The Repzork believe that their actions will bring stability to the galaxy and that it will leave only the worthy to rule over the stars.

The Repzork have been at war with the Galderans since their founding, but while the war has taken up much of their attention, they are still expanding and conquering elsewhere. Recently, they have joined the Warlord Pact and have joined their war against the Peacekeeper Alliance. The Repzork also intend to have the Warlords assist them in defeating the Galderan Empire, which has also joined in the fight after discovering the Repzork's involvement.

History[edit | edit source]

Pre-Founding History[edit | edit source]

The sect of Galderan society that would go on to form the Repzork Empire has its roots far back in the pre-unification period of Arkevan history. Their interpretation of the Nolkaveka, the holy text of Deltausyleris, is almost as old as the faith itself, the earliest records of it dating approximately six to seven hundred years after the religion first appears in historical records, though it is likely to be even older. The extremist sect eventually sparked a war with the ancient Nolsarian Empire. While the Nolsarians were victorious, the conflict was so devastating for them that the empire eventually collapsed as it was unable to maintain control over its holdings. The sect was very nearly wiped out, and due to many distrusting them or even attacking them on sight due to the conflict, most of them abandoned their homeland of Nolsaria and went north into the frigid continent of Kalkria, where they eventually built vast underground settlements to better protect themselves from invaders and the cold. Shortly thereafter, they united into the Kalkria Empire.

The Kalkria Empire eventually grew into one of the global superpowers that had taken over most of Kovas alongside the Nolsarian Empire, the Lekonian Monarchy, and others. Up until the eventual cold war between the superpowers, the Kalkrians were involved in several conflicts with the Nolsarians, who would eventually found the Empire of Galdera, due to the differences in their belief system as well as the Kalkrian's desire to reclaim their homeland. It was during this time that the Nolsarians began to refer to them as 'Bloodthirsters' due to some of their religious rituals; while initially an insult, the Bloodthirsters embraced the term and adapted it as a badge of honor. The Kalkrians were the second superpower to develop interstellar travel, having stolen designs from the Nolsarians, and took part in the intense colonization race that would follow, eventually claiming several colonies for themselves.

The Kalkria Empire was later invaded by the Nolsarian Empire, an event which marked the beginning of the Wars of Unification. The Kalkrian front would be the longest and most destructive front of the Wars of Unification, lasting for nearly the entire duration of the conflict. While the Kalkrians put up a very heavy fight, they were ultimately defeated by the Nolsarians following the destruction of their last underground fortresses. The Kalkrians, along with the rest of the losing powers, were inducted into the soon-to-be Empire of Galdera.

While the majority of the Nolsarian population had a negative perception of the Kalkrians, the government had no intention of purging or enslaving them, despite considering their faith to be heresy. Instead, the Galderan government sought to gradually assimilate the Kalkrians into Nolsarian culture and thus significantly diminish or outright eliminate their religion. They did, however, reprimand those who were caught practicing certain religious rituals, such as consuming sapient beings or offering sapient beings as sacrifices to Syleris. Over the following years, this process of assimilation, while slow, was turning out to be successful, and it was widely believed that the Bloodthirsters would disappear into history.

Culture & Society[edit | edit source]

Deltausyleris (translated as 'Children of Syleris') is the official state religion of the Empire of Galdera. Deltausyleris is a polytheistic religion which officially worships two deities: Syleris, who is believed to be the mother of all life; and Vahnris, one of Syleris' offspring and the so-called 'Hero of Gaulderog.' Different sects may however decide to worship one God or the other, or may focus their worship to a different entity entirely. The tenants of Deltausyleris have been a major part of its policies since the beginning, and was in fact what inspired the creation of the Empire to begin with. It is by far the largest religion within the Galderan Empire, possessing trillions of adherents and numerous distinct denominations. The majority of these adherents and their denominations are members of and represented within the official church of Deltausyleris.

The theology of Deltausyleris is contained in the Nolkaveka, also known simply as the 'Holy Text' or 'Scriptures.' The Nolkaveka is comprised of numerous books, each of which deals with a different subject. Of these various books, the three most well known are 'Beginning' and the 'Book of Hymns.' 'Beginning' is a very long book that details the creation of all things, the story of the Gods, and how the Arkevon were given their 'Divine Will.' The Book of Hymns is a book filled with various songs and poems, many of which are used during various rituals and ceremonies as well as prayer in general. Out of all the texts, the Book of Hymns is the most common due to it being included in the Nolkaveka and printed into its own individual book; many of the faithful carry the book around at all times, especially active military personnel, who will sing them before, sometimes during, and after battle.

In short summary, there are two main aspects of Deltausyleris: proving one's worth to the Gods, and acting as the 'curators' of the physical realm. Both of these concepts tie into each other, and have had a significant impact on the Galderan's ideology, culture, and outlook on life.

Adherents of Deltausyleris believe that the physical realm that life exist in - known officially as Keilva- is a sort of 'test bed' where Syleris placed all non-divine life so that it can grow and develop. The individuals located here must then 'prove itself' to the Gods so that it could enter Oovros, the realm of the Gods and the location where Syleris herself resides. If they are found to be unworthy, it is cast down into the realm known as Vahlsrod,' a monochrome landscape of eternal isolation and emptiness. There are a few ways to earn favor with the Gods within the bounds of the faith, such as caring for the sick and poor as well as performing church duties. The most important -and significant- way of earning favor, however, is through war.

War forms one of the integral aspects of Deltausyleris and how its adherents view life. Those who hold unto the tenants of the Nolkaveka see conflict as an integral part of the nature order, an order which the Goddess created. The analogy is often made to evolution, where life must fight and adapt to survive the harsh world that the creature was born on; just as the animal changes, so too, must a nation adapt to new challenges in order to survive. War achieves this by encouraging unity among a population for the goal of survival and improvement, and it forces change by nation's having to adapt to changing tactics and technology so that they can keep up. Those who would try to deny war and life in a constant state of peace are looked upon as fools who are leading themselves to stagnation, decay, and being forsaken by the Gods.

It is this ideology of conflict that forms the foundation for Syleris' 'Divine Will,' a mandate that she passed down to the Arkevon before she ascended into Oovros. Syleris essentially made the Arkevon -who had been born of her own blood- her tools for judgment in the physical realm. In the context of modern society, the Arkevon believe that it is their task to scour the stars and judge the sentient life that they discover. If they are found worthy, than they are to be allied with, or even better, absorbed into the Empire. Those found to not be worthy, such as races which shy away from militaristic ideals and instead live a life of peace, are subject to being invaded; this does not mean the Galderans will destroy all individuals within the nation in question, as they are known for accepting turncoats into the Empire as well as absorbing those who surrender and gradually assimilating them into Galderan culture, essentially 'saving' them from judgment.

The goals set forth by Syleris' Divine Will are believed to be eternal; as long as civilization keeps rising, the Galderans must continue their work. This ties into the Deltausyleran view on reincarnation; life exist in a perpetual cycle. This cycle is birth, growth, decay, and eventually, destruction. This cycle applies to (almost) everything in the physical realm to some degree; the universe itself is slowly dying, and all nations will eventually crumble into dust, just like the ancient powers. However, when the universe dies, it will simply rewind and begin anew again. For sentient life, it works somewhat differently; life found worthy cannot truly 'die' in the traditional sense. Their soul enters the afterlife, but their subconscious, their spirit, will live on and 'reincarnate' at some point in the future. Unworthy life, however, does not reincarnate; when they die, their soul and spirit are cast down to Vahlsrod.

Divine Will[edit | edit source]

"It is based upon the natural world, the one forged by the Queen, that one finds justification for the concept of Her Divine Will; the concept of peace holds no ground in the natural order. Permanent peace, and any attempt to reach such a point, is a lie; it will only hold back progress and bring forth decay and stagnation. Much like how the wild beasts of the field must adapt and evolve for its continued survival, so too must civilization adapt to the challenges and threats of the universe. War is the only true course of action for our divinely ordained civilization. War brings progress; one must adapt to face their enemy and defeat them, and these adaptations will in some form come to affect the private sector. War leads to diligence and unity among the population, and many will be driven to work on behalf of the nation's continued survival.

"However, the Divine Will of the Goddess is not so easily explained and acted upon; after all, the Arkevon are ordained creatures, tasked with judging the rest of creation and dividing the fresh from the spoiled. If we were to declare all life unfit to live, then we face the wrath of the Goddess. To truly act out her Divine Will, then the Arkevon must spread their influence through the stars. Those like-minded conquerors and warriors, those the peace-mongers would call 'warlords' or even 'monsters,' are truly our brothers. We are to take them and accept them, for they have been found fit to survive, thrive, and come with us in paradise. Those who would rather have stagnation and 'peace' are either fools or hypocrites, and will see eternal darkness in the Maw of Vahlsrod." - Theologian Natsar Dolrus, "Will of the Divine"

Sacrificial Offerings[edit | edit source]

"You have no reason to be afraid, scaleless one; your soul has been spared an eternity in Vahlsrod, you shall serve the Mother well in the next world." - Priestess Qalrova Ghasene moments before sacrificing a prisoner.

"The soldiers of the Peacekeeper Alliance are little more than food to our Queen."

"We arrived here believing that we were just liberating a prison camp; something we'd do pretty frequently when fighting the Zaretians. Though we were confused when we discovered the area had been abandoned by the time we arrived, we continued our search, hoping we may find someone who was left behind. It was not until we reached the facility's central courtyard that we realized the base's...true intent. The area had been used recently for their, rituals; there was blood everywhere, the smell of cooked flesh and iron filled the air. The occasional bone or piece of flesh could be found scattered on the ground. We, found no survivors; they had likely all perished. The events of that day will stay with me forever as I try to understand how a modern nation could do something so heinous." - Excerpt from an interview with an Aeverian soldier.

The act of sacrificing living organisms to the Gods and then consuming them is one of the cornerstones of Deltausyleris; it is considered by many to be the most important and most sacred of rituals. Sacrificial offerings have ancient origins and date back many thousands of years to the earliest days of Arkevan civilization, millennia before they would become a space-faring nation. Offerings can range from captured wild animals to sentient beings who were taken prisoner during a conflict. The vast majority of these offerings are dedicated to Syleris, though some sects also make sacrifices to Vahris as well, or perform rituals for him exclusively. Regardless of who they are dedicated to, rituals are performed for the same reasons and with the same methods, and may differ only in a few specific details. Viewed with utter disgust by many, especially those outside the Empire, the rituals have long been used in propaganda to paint the Galderans -particularly the Arkevon- as bloodthirsty monsters, though such depictions have done nothing to change the Empire's stance on the act.

Due to its very sacred nature, the directions for a sacrificial ritual are followed very closely and specifically so as to not make any mistakes; to reinforce this, the individuals responsible for performing the ritual are either higher-ranking chaplains (in a military context) or priest and priestesses. These individuals will often be dressed in garbs specifically for the event; long robes will conceal much of their body, and they will usually be wearing some sort of mask, either one representing the god the offering is dedicated to or a 'skull mask' which is made using an actual skull. Before the ritual can begin, the area must be prepared. An altar, which is often little more than a stone or metal table with braces to lock limbs into place, is set up in spacious outside area; placing them inside of buildings or enclosed spaces is generally frowned upon. The altar is then quickly washed with only water as a means of 'cleansing' it. Multiple areas are prepared for bonfires which will be lit during the ceremony. Once these preparations are made, the priests (or chaplains) will wait until nightfall to begin the ritual.

Once it is nighttime, the ritual can begin. The faithful gather around the altar as the priest begin the ceremony. The offerings are brought out one-by-one and placed on the altar. The individual then has water poured over their body, which is a way of 'safeguarding' their soul for the journey to the afterlife. During this process -and for much of the rest of the ceremony- the various priest and religious officials will be reciting various ancient prayers which have been largely kept the same over the many years. After the washing, the head-priest will pull out a dagger designed specifically for the ritual and will bring it to where the offering's heart is located. The priest will then stab the area around the heart three times, the holes are then connected by slicing between them, forming a triangle-shaped wound on the chest. Once this is done, the priest will move to specifically remove the heart (or hearts) of the individual. Once the heart is extracted, the corpse of the individual will be cut into various parts and will be cooked over the bonfires that had been prepared beforehand. The head-priest will consume the extracted heart while the other priest will consume the other parts of the body. This process is then repeated until no offerings are left to give; and after the first offering, soldiers and other individuals may also consume the flesh of those sacrificed. If the alien being sacrificed cannot be consumed, typically due to a poisonous anatomy, then the body will simply be incinerated in the aforementioned bonfires.

A number of reasons serve to justify the act of sacrifice; chief among them being that it provides 'nourishment' to the Gods. When an individual is killed in the ritual, their soul is not sent to Vahlsrod like those who die by other means. Instead, it is sent directly to either Syleris or Vahnris. The soul is then 'consumed' by the god; it is merged with them, becoming part of the god and losing any and all sense of self; their strength, soul, and conscious are all absorbed to make the god stronger. As a result of this belief, the Arkevon are somewhat picky when it comes to who is sacrificed; those considered 'fit' for the ritual must be devoid of deformities and disease and must be of an appropriate age, they cannot be too young or too old. The ones not chosen for sacrifice may either be simply killed, indoctrinated (if very young), or suffer the potentially worse fate of being used as test subjects in the Empire's scientific endeavors. Some races, such as the Betel or Margan, are seen as being unfit for sacrifice as a whole for one reason or another, and are thus never chosen for the ceremony. As well as feeding power to the gods, offering sacrifices is also considered one of the best ways to show one's faith and dedication. And while it is associated heavily with the gods, one can make sacrifices dedicated to their ancestors; these are typically smaller ceremonies than other variations, and are done to seek atonement for past wrongs so that their ancestors will forgive them; such offerings are done with animals rather than sentient beings.

Ritual sacrifice is one of the oldest surviving traditions in Arkevan culture; it is uncertain when exactly it began, as even some of the oldest religious manuscripts make mention of it. Many believe that it was the Nolsarians who began it, and that it was introduced to them through Syleris and Vahnris. No religious scripture specifically mentions fellow Arkevon as being used for offerings, though at the same time, there was nothing rebuking the idea. Therefore, once other sentient races were wiped out on Kovas, various sects within the nations of Nolsara began to use Arkevon from hostile nations in their rituals alongside animals. This practice continued for hundreds of years, and resulted in such a vast amount of deaths that it remains uncounted to this day.

As time progressed, Arkevon were used less and less in such rituals; new interpretations and morals came in staunch opposition to the practice, which was being compared to slaughtering children in cold blood. It was progressively banned in various locations, with the punishment of death made for anyone found doing it. As the second Arkevan Empire (the nation which would unite the Arkevon later on) rose to prominence, the practice was banned completely. The last known instance of an officially-supported instance of Arkevan sacrifice was in 1388 BF. Ritual sacrifice was not completely banned, however, and animals were used instead; the state also supported such rituals.

The use of sentient beings in sacrifices would not return to the spotlight until 33 AF, when multiple Arkevan regiments, supported by their chaplains, took several dozen prisoners and systematically sacrificed all of them over the course of a day. News of the event spread quickly, and sparked a debate within the church about whether such an act was permissible. After a few days of debating, it was decided that, given they were not Arkevon and were to be killed anyway, that such an act was both permissible and good, as it took the 'misused' strength of those unfit to live and instead granted it to their gods.

Since then, the act of sacrificing aliens has become a mainstream aspect of Deltausyleris and is done on a scale many foreigners would consider 'incomprehensible.' Every year, hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of individuals are used in such rituals; soldiers and civilians alike. It is especially prevalent during religious holidays. Despite its prevalence, less educated foreigners may not actually be aware that the Arkevon practice such rituals. The Empire doesn't often blatantly proclaim such rituals take place nor openly tell opposing armies or planets about them. Even those being sacrificed are not actually told what is going to happen to them until it happens. Most simply presume that those captured are executed. Usually, other nations learn of them either by finding a location where sacrifices took place or through others telling them.

Views of this practice among the other member races of the Galderan Empire are somewhat mixed. The idea of ritual sacrifice was very alien to the Empire of Ilsur, which was apprehensive after having learned of the practice. They ultimately turned a blind eye to it and simply ignored the subject; though some groups showed opposition to it (and continue to do so in the modern era). Decades of cultural assimilation between the two have spawned many Nevelin who now embrace Deltausylerism, and thus are active participants in the ritual. The Zenura, meanwhile, simply do not care and ignore it. Before unification, they had already been destroying many of their neighbors through war; so while sacrificing and eating them was seen as strange, the Zenura remain apathetic so long as it did not affect them. A very small minority of Zenura have recently begun to take involvement in the rituals. The Jaset have come to embrace it far quicker than any other member race has, partly due to the rapid induction of Deltausylerism into their culture, especially among the leadership. Rituals performed almost exclusively by Jaset priest are not unheard of. Finally, the Yin'vair, being one of the newer nations in the Empire, is still getting used to the ritual. They were unaware that it existed until they had already become a member race. Most of them view it as strange and savage, especially for an Empire that had freed them from their status as indoctrinated vassals. Despite this, the Yin'vair have not come out officially to protest against it, due largely to the fact that they feel indebted to the Empire after it had liberated them.

Political Relations[edit | edit source]

Warlord Pact[edit | edit source]

The Repzork find themselves split in regards to the Warlord Pact; many trust at least some of their members, most notable the Zaretian Monarchy and IAE. Most, however, have their doubts about the pact and its members. Races such as the Margan and Asanian Syndicate cast doubt on whether the Repzork should rely on them as allies. Regardless, for now, the empire works with the Warlords, mostly as a means of defeating the Peacekeeper Alliance.

Margan Empire[edit | edit source]

Status: Alliance

"They are nothing more than tools, a temporary ally for a temporary problem. Once the Peacekeepers are defeated, we will turn our attention towards them and their so-called 'Holy Goal.' " - Xelva Ahkavas Teldiv

"If I could, I would have had the Margan all burned alive and their leaders fed to Karnas." - Noxelva Joldm Nassadis Basur

"I need a moment to think. Leave me be." - Kelevien Valrus shortly after the Golden Blade armada sacrificed itself, allowing Kelevien and her fleet to escape from the Aeverian Border Blockade.

As it currently stands, the Repzork Empire and Margan are allies. For a brief time during the Empire's entry into the War, the Margan were attacking the Empire in order to test their merit. Eventually the Empire won and were formally entered into the Warlord Pact. Many do not believe the Margan, believing their highly xenophobic and genocidal nature will bring them to conflict with the Repzork down the line.

The Xeverra[edit | edit source]

Status: Alliance

"Something seems a little off about them. I don't know what it is, but they freak me out." - Anonymous soldier.

"Theyr ideology is strange, but we have common enemies and seek the same goal, so cooperation was natural. I am happy to fight alongside them." - Field Commander currently in joint Repzork-Xeverra operations.

"Their arsenal of robotic constructs is impressive, to say the least; I believe that we can learn from them. "

The Repzork and Xeverra first encountered one another during a conflict against the Betel Recyclers. Realizing they had a mutual enemy, the two quickly formed an alliance against the Betel and the Xeverra officially became members of the Warlord Pact. On an individual basis, many Repzork find the Xeverra and their ideology strange and foreign, though they are willing to put this aside in the face of far more important issues.

IAE[edit | edit source]

Status: Alliance

"They possess a powerful military and have the backbone to use it. Their technology is superior to ours in many ways, especially when it comes to energy weaponry and space travel. I may not agree with all of their philosophies, but they are valuable allies, we must work with them more in the future." - Diplomat Orvah.

"I can only stand being around them for so long; they are far too bureaucratic for my tastes." - Vier Varo Arvintis.

"They really seem to enjoy those masks, are they embarrassed about something?" - Anonymous Jaset soldier.

Zaretian Monarchy[edit | edit source]

Status: Alliance

"I trust the Monarchy far more more than I trust any other Warlord power." - Vier Varo Arvintis.

"The Zaretians are valuable allies with a vast and powerful military. We must do everything we can to support them." - Valxelva Kelevien Valrus.

"I foresee a very beneficial alliance between our two nations." - Diplomat Orvah

The Repzork as a whole like the Zaretian Monarchy much more than some of the other races in the Warlord Alliance and wish to become close allies with them. They view the Monarchy as being in good moral standing and view their king as a sort of savior for taking control and putting the Zaretians in their militaristic path. Improving relations and keeping Breys in power were two main reasons the Empire became involved in the combined-offensive against the Aeveria Confederation.

Asanian Syndicate[edit | edit source]

Status: Neutral

"I could write an entire novel about everything that is wrong with the Syndicate."

"Disgusting."

"The Syndicate is little more than a fast-burning fire; for a time, they will pose a threat to all who encounter them. However, they cannot survive with their current rate of growth, and will collapse under their own weight."

Though on the same side in the Great War, the Empire wish to keep their distance when it comes to the Asanians. They despise Asanian culture and leadership, seeing it as a dystopian horror show. Their heavy use of cannon-fodder tactics has made them even more unpopular among the military. Many generals have said that they outright refuse to ever work with them unless it is deemed absolutely necessary.

Peacekeeper Alliance[edit | edit source]

The Empire of Galdera believe the Peacekeeper alliance is a threat to their agenda and survival. Because of this, all Peacekeeper-aligned empires are considered major threats.

Aeveria Confederation[edit | edit source]

Status: War

"We shall shatter their armies into dust, burn their worlds until they are but ash, and slaughter their people until none are left!"

"Of all of the Peacekeepers, the Aeverians pose the greatest risk to our very beliefs. Only their complete destruction ensures our survival."

"I relish the day in which we shall see Iliveria burn."

Betel Recyclers[edit | edit source]

Status: War

"Trash. Both literally and figuratively."

"Cowards."

"The Betel are living on burrowed time; their destruction is an inevitability."

The Betel Recyclers are the second Peacekeeper race the Repzotk have encountered. At first, the Empire thought the Betel were just another, albeit slightly more primitive, Peacekeeper race that they would have to crush. However, more observation quickly discovered that Betel worlds are covered in metal and trash, basically being gigantic resource nodes. As such, a plan was made to sweep through Betel territory, claiming the trash worlds and eliminating the Betel at the same time.

Upon first contact with the Betel, the Repzork were beaten back and retreated. However, further pushes into Betel territory have resulted in several victories and many Betel casualties. Their forces are slowly but surely approaching the important refuse planets with no sign at the moment of stopping.

Empire of Diablos[edit | edit source]

Status: War

"It is truly a shame that the Diabloians have chosen the wrong side in this war; we could have made wonderful allies. They shall burn for their betrayal."

"The Diabloians appear to form the true backbone of the Peacekeeper military; shatter it, and the rest should follow."

"At last, a true opponent comes forth!"

Repzork forces have recently begun engaging Diabloian forces around their border planets. The Diabloian front is being commanded by Vier Varo. In the short time since fighting began, the Empire has already developed a respect for the Diabloian Empire. Many praise their military strength and the fighting prowess of their infantry. Diabloian forces have proven very effective against Repzork forces early on in a battle, leading to them scoring several early victories, though Varo's forces have scored their own share of victories.

Karahotdoum Empire[edit | edit source]

Status: War

" Ok, I have to admit, the Karahotdoum make good music." - Anonymous soldier

"Why are their eyes behind their ears?" - Notes from a surgeon performing an autopsy.

"The galaxy truly is cruel." - Anonymous Pilot upon discovering Arkevon are incapable of playing saxophones.

As it stands currently, the Empire has not had any direct interaction with the Karahotdoum Empire. However, there are some Karahotdoum in the Betel front helping to train the Betel military. Many desire to seek to strike them directly, but no such plans have been created yet.

Sauran Solidarity[edit | edit source]

Status: War

"This war has turned the Sauran into an example; it personifies how the ways of 'peace' will inevitably lead to destruction. We must be careful not to one day fall into the same trap. "

"And I thought the Avrin were strangely gentle for their size."

"They have brought this upon themselves."

The Rach[edit | edit source]

Status: War

"Command, we need an EOD squad at the armory. Somebody managed to steal everything except for a boot; we think they might have left a bomb in it." - Anonymous Jaset Soldier.

"It was there just a moment ago, where did it go?!" - Vexn Ingeok Olindi shortly before being assassinated by Rach spec-ops forces.

"I've always found the stealthy ones to be much more entertaining to fight than the average grunt." - Anynymous Halrog officer.

Though the Rach and the Repzork have yet to officially encounter one another, the Empire has been closely monitoring the region affected by the Great War to ensure that Rach intrusion is kept to a minimum. Out of all the Peacekeepers, the Repzork have a special fear of the Rach. They know what such a stealthy species is capable of doing to their supply lines and command structure, and have grown paranoid about assassinations and sabotage. Extensive work is being done in the realm of anti-stealth technology, but it is still not efficient enough to completely halt Rach stealth tactics.

Luminarians[edit | edit source]

Status: War

"Is this some sort of sick joke?" - Anonymous Soldier upon viewing footage of a Battlestation.

"Remember when I said to never underestimate the short ones?"- Overseer Nalada

"I'm jealous; we need something bigger." - Anonymous Zenuran engineer.

Thus far, the Empire has had no official engagements with the Luminarian Empire. Most of their information comes from records and the other warlords. As a whole, the Repzork are impressed by their military technology, especially their mechs and battlestations. Many can also sympathize with their core values, mostly the philosophy of preserving their lives. Engineers have already begun looking into the possibility of creating battlestation-sized machines, but the technology to put them together, and the plans of what they would even be, do not yet exist.

Kastalian Survivors[edit | edit source]

Status: War

"Come, join your brothers in the next world!" - Anonymous Varnas.

"I was not expecting a fat bird when I was told they were one of the ancient superpowers of the galaxy." - Diplomat Orvah

"Their glory days have long ended; in time, they will fade away like the rest." - Vier Fortsa Lonvai.

Delani Republic[edit | edit source]

Relation Status: N/A, empire destroyed

"It was fun while it lasted."

"I was looking forward to butchering them..."

"The Asanians killed them? That's an unfortunate way to go, I'd rather fight the Diabloians."

Military forces engaged the Delani early into their involvement into the war. By this time the Delani were already weakened by attacks from other Warlord, like the Asanian Syndicate. Direct engagements with the Delani were largely pulled back once the Margan began attacking. Since then, the Delani Republic has been destroyed. No effort has been made to hunt any survivors down, but they have attempted salvaging what they could from Delani remnants.

Neutral Races[edit | edit source]

Holy Nepharian Empire[edit | edit source]

Status: Neutral

"Bah, now I have to wash all of this off!" - Anynymous soldier after having stabbed a Nepharian to death.

"We shall enlighten them to the true Gods of this world." - Chaplain Charndis Netar

"They are a fanatical bunch; practically impossible to break their morale. This will make for an interesting fight." - Vier Helgva Desenvi

The Holy Nepharian Empire was the first race involved in the Great War to be attacked by the Repzork Empire, specifically an Arkevan fleet that had stumbled upon one of their mining outposts. Though it was initially done to claim the resources, soldiers found consoles that referenced the conflict, causing the Empire to launch an investigation that began the process of their intervention into the conflict. The attack on the colony would become an isolated incident, as the Empire decided to largely ignore the Nepharians and focus their efforts against the Peacekeepers. Forces remain on standby on the planet in case of Nepharian retaliation, but such an attack has thus far not occurred.

Khasii Consulate[edit | edit source]

Status: War

"A literal goldmine of riches and resources that is sadly hidden behind an entire species of vain and pompous avians."

"Your third eye grants you enlightenment? Then you shall be forever blind." Anonymous soldier moments before stabbing a Khasii's eye.

"Even our art isn't this absurd." - An Arkevon soldier observing a Khasii painting.

Philosophers and scholars have long argued about the existence of the Khasii. Some claim that they are a long-lost race from some ancient era of galactic history. Others claim that they are not real and are in fact figments of the Repzork subconscious. Still yet others believe that they are ethereal beings who come to taunt the 'filthy plebeian mortals' by constantly gloating about grand wealth.

Transmetallic Confederation[edit | edit source]

Status: Neutral

"The Margan seem to hate their guts, I'll take their word for it. The TMC does not come off as trustworthy." - Noxelva Kelevien Valrus.

"What we have learned indicates that the Transmetallic Confederation is very, very bad at diplomacy." - Diplomat Orvah.

" I can understand color-coding your infantry, but why are their snipers yellow?" - Anonymous Nevelin sniper.

The Wingle Union[edit | edit source]

Status: Neutral

"Remind me why I should care." - Noxelva Nazatek Sadim Nokture Malad

"They seem, complacent. They have yet to become directly involved in the war. We shall see how far this will get them." - Diplomat Orva

"Another nation trapped in a delusional view of how the universe works. In time, we shall shatter their illusion." - Vier Varo Arvintis

The Repzork have limited information on the Wingle Union at best. Due to how they currently remain neutral and have had limited involvement within the Great War, the Repzork have decided to ignore them until either the war is over or they intervene in some way.

The Gronian Imperium[edit | edit source]

Status: Neutral

"Leave them be, let them kill each other in their petty civil war. If the opportunity arises, we shall come; but for now, sit back and watch the carnage unfold."

"How are they supposed to eat anyth- oh.""

"The Gronians wish for us to leave them alone? Then we shall let them; while they idly sit behind their walls, we shall amass our forces. Once the Peacekeepers are gone and the Margan are pacified, they are next."

The Empire of Galdera and Gronian Imperium have yet to encounter each other; all current information the Repzork have comes from other sources, such as the Red Rose Dynasty of the Margan. The Repzork are content with leaving the Gronians alone for the time being as they focus their efforts against the Peacekeepers and their allies. Plans for an eventual invasion have been made, but they are currently on hold.

Confederation of Derahs[edit | edit source]

Status: War

"Hypocrites, that is all they are." - Emperor Zervath.

"The Peacekeepers lose any perceived legitimacy if they let them in." - Diplomat Orvah.

"I will bathe in your blood!" - Anonymous soldier from the 'Skull Eaters' regiment.

The Repzork and Zorock have had been at war since they first encountered each other a little over 27 years ago. The Kingdom launched an all-out offensive against the Empire in an effort to wipe out the Empire and end their expansion and genocide forever. Though initially successful, the Imperial counter-offensive forced Zorock troops out and back to the border. Since then it has been a stalemate, with neither side gaining or losing any significant ground. The border colonies have long been abandoned and replaced with military installations.

Nalstros Space Pirates[edit | edit source]

Status: War

"Persistent." - Anti-pirating division soldier.

"They remain a constant threat to our outer colonies. They strike fast, hit hard, and disappear as fast as they have arrived. I fear they will remain a permanent threat." - Commander in the anti-pirating division.

"For being as thin as a stick, they can be surprisingly strong." - Anonymous Arkevan soldier.

For as long as any can remember, the Nalstros have been a persistent nuisance to the Doman's outer colonies. Though they pose little threat to the more developed colonies and military fortress worlds, the danger they pose cannot be ignored. A large and well-funded division of troops dedicating to hunting down and repelling the Nalstros was formed quite some time ago and has been fairly successful at repelling raids, if they can respond in time.

Other[edit | edit source]

Biomatter Swarms[edit | edit source]

Status: War.

"I have witnessed hive-minds before; but this, this is unique. I refuse to believe these creatures are natural." - Anonymous soldier

"They are a cancer upon the universe. We must not hesitate in destroying them." - A commander within the Anti-Biomatter brigade.

"There seems to be some intelligence behind these creature's actions, I wonder how far this intelligence goes." - Researcher from the Detelvek Hazardous Research Facility.

The Empire's first encountered the Biomatter very shortly before entering the Great War. Since then, incidents have begun popping up in the frontier worlds, albeit slowly. While most incidents have been minor, a small number of worlds have been lost to the creatures. Many are terrified of the potential threat the creatures pose to the empire, as the Empire currently has little understanding of what exactly the Biomatter are or where they come from. Recently, a task force was created with the task of responding to attacks from the Biomatter and to wipe out any infected planets with any means available. There have also been secret meetings to see if they can somehow join up with another task force in order to receive their experience with the creatures.
